About Me

I’ve been through the gamete of health in several different arenas. I received a Bacherlor’s Degree of Science and Sports Medicine in 2008 from Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania. After that I pursued and obtained my Master’s of Physical Activity and Public Health Degree in 2010 from the University of South Carolina. I have had the pleasure of working with people of all different backgrounds from collegiate athletes, elementary to high school students, adults of all ages, and senior citizens. In addition to helping others meet and exceed their health and fitness goals, I too have struggled, met and exceeded my own fitness goals. I’ve lost 50+ pounds on more than one occasion and continue to work daily to get into the best shape of my life.

Instead of beating the redundancy button, I’ve decided to focus the energy of the blog on the struggles I face keeping up with fitness and eating healthy while juggling a career and being a new dad. The blog’s main focus is still to help others, but how I get there is going to change. I am hoping that rather than post a bunch of facts and tips that you may or may not follow, I’ll show you how I overcome my struggles and hope that you’ll be able to use the information to translate to your own situation.  I really want this to be an interactive blog with lots of discussion, so I hope you will join me in posting your story as well.

Thank you for the award. I am relatively new to this WordPress venue and am not sure how to post it on the blog. It is greatly appreciated!
